This project was a great example of how a bold material can bring real character to a space.
We used Breccia Capraia marble, selected for its dramatic veining on one side and softer creams with turquoise streaking on the other. Both were used across the house to create strong contrast and visual balance.
The shower wall was cut from the more dynamic half of the slab, becoming a real showpiece in the bathroom. The basin was constructed from 20mm material, and with the power of our 3D Scanner, we created the best vein matching possible to create the illusion the material was carved from a solid block. Both the Basin and Shower wall are set against calm, neutral tones to let the material stand out.
In the kitchen, the worktops in high-use areas were kept subtle, while the island and range splashback were both finished in Breccia Capraia, giving the space practicality but also marble artistry! A small alcove was set into the splashback wall, adding storage and a clean, practical detail, but also a beautiful design feature.
Door linings in the same stone helped carry the design tone through the rest of the house.
